Merged mining pool?
« on: August 25, 2013, 05:04:53 am »
Hi all! This might be a noob question but is it possible to set up a pool that has merged mining? For example PPC and BTC together? Since I know there are pools that merge BTC and NMC mining, I`m wondering whether the same is profitable or even possible with PPC. Anyone know of any existing pools that do this?

It's not possible.

PPC and BTC are each trying to solve different "problems" so you can't submit the same work to both.

The PPC codebase would have to be forked to support merged mining with BTC.

Oh, ok. This applies for every other crypto as well right?

Cryptos that are not specifically designed for merged mining can't be merge mined.
